Growing up, movement was always a part of my life. I trained in ballet for 16 years, developing a deep appreciation for discipline, expression, and the connection between body and mind. After the birth of my son, I stepped away from my career to focus on raising my children full time. During that season of life, I found my way back to movement through fitness classes — one hour that became not only physical exercise, but also a source of connection, balance, and renewal.
It was through this journey that I discovered yoga and rekindled my lifelong love of movement. In 2005, I began teaching fitness classes, including yoga, barre, and dance-inspired fitness. Over the years, teaching became more than just movement; it became a way to support and connect with others.
Like many people, the experience of Covid brought a shift in perspective and a desire to deepen my understanding of yoga, meditation, and mindful living. In 2023, I completed both my 200-hour Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training and 200-hour Hatha/Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training. Since then, I have also completed 70 hours of Yin Yoga and meditation training.
Yoga has supported me through some of life's most difficult experiences while also giving me the gift of community, connection, and self-discovery. My intention as a teacher is to create a welcoming space where students can reconnect with themselves, explore their inner strength, and experience the transformative power of movement and stillness. I am grateful to share what I have learned and hope it brings support, healing, and inspiration to others on their own journey.
